Confirmation of Orders

After receiving your order we will fill out an order sheet and fax it back to you for confirmation. The order sheet typically specifies the Door Types and Quantities, Materials, Dimensions, Square Footage, Edge and Finishing details, Due Date, and other relevant information. Please check the order sheet carefully before signing your confirmation, and fax it to us once you’re satisfied everything is in order. Once we receive the signed order sheet from you, the job goes into production.

Due to our delivery commitments, orders placed today will be on the Shop floor by morning. Therefore, all changes must be made on the same day the order is placed, orders changed after that will be charged for material and time. Rush orders are sent to Shop floor immediately. Any change made to a Rush order will require a charge for material and time.

Dimensional Tolerances

Door thickness is 3/4″ +/- 1/32″ (19.00 mm +/- 0.8 mm). See pricing for more information regarding core thickness.
Door sizes have a tolerance of +/- 1/32″ (0.8 mm).
A twist or warp of up to 3/16″ (4.76 mm) is not considered a defect.
For doors over 24″ (610 mm) wide, and 50″ (1270 mm) height, a twist or wrapage of up to 1/4″ (6.35 mm) is allowable.

Pricing

Doors are priced on a square feet basis. We record sizes Width x Height (WxH). The dimension is rounded up to the nearest ½”. However, if the dimension is equal to or less than one square foot, the door will be priced by 1½ square foot.

Hours of Service

Star Cabinet Doors hours of operation are: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (PST), excluding holidays.

Credit Policy

A minimum prepaid deposit of 50% of the order value is required for accounts not established for open credit. The production of the order will not commence without receipt of this deposit. The remaining balance of the sell price must be paid either prior to shipment or, if shipped C.O.D, paid by certified funds. Visa or MasterCard payment is recommended to avoid additional C.O.D charges.

One week processing time is required for any new applications for credit privileges. Company cheque acceptance is subject to approval by Star Cabinet Doors credit departement.

Warranty

Star Cabinet Doors products are protected under a one-year warranty from the invoice date. They are guaranteed against defective workmanship, discoloration, and excessive twist or warpage under the provision that the products have received proper care. This warranty does not apply to products subjected to improper care by exposure to excessive heat, cold, or humidity, poor finish application, or incorrect installation. This warranty is limited to replacement of a product as originally supplied only. Additional expenses incurred in the removal and replacement of the product is not covered under this warranty. If in questions, this warranty supersedes any other warranties, expressed or implied.

Shipping & Crating

All prices are FOB Star Cabinet Doors, Surrey, BC.

We can arrange for the goods to be shipped to you according to your requirements. Delivery specifications, including shipping company, type and priority of shipping will be specified and paid for by the customer. We do packaging of the product according to weight and how fragile it is. A packaging/handling charge may apply depending on your packaging specifications.

Crating calculated at $0.50 per square foot. There is a minimum charge of $50.00 to a maximum charge of $125.00.

Upon receiving your order, check the quantity and sizes. Any corrections should be identified to our Customer Service Representatives within 5days of delivery.
